Autumn thoughts..

It's got a bit wet and windy, hasn't it!
I've had a bit of a website tidy up, because over the last 12 months we have had a lot of changes, (all for the good).
Things have been a bit quiet here, but we're now settled in to new schools, house and jobs. The office is feeling more like my space, rather than simply my stuff in a new place, and I'm planning for a busy few weeks. There are even Hector Christmas jumpers on the Hector page now!
Although we've moved home to the county I grew up in, working from home all the time makes it harder to settle back into the community. So, i'm headed out to a games fair –weather permitting – tomorrow, to hopefully start to build a new set of local friends.
Then, I have to sit myself down and crack on with edits for Swarmrest. I might see if that works with any of the writing sessions on the Spotlight Indie weekend. The story is written, now I need to smooth it over and prettify it. If you want the blurb, its on the home page now!
I still can't quite believe i'm typing this - and it has time to settle in, but i'm a Guest of Honour at Bristol Con – my favourite convention in a few weeks time. I'll update you with the panels I'm on closer to the time.
The week after that, I'm headed to Brighton for World Fantasy Con. I haven't been able to get to any conventions since last Bristol Con- and now I have two in the same week! A group of us have been lucky enough to nab a stall, so you'll find me in the dealers room at Brighton as well as hopefully on panels!
Hope to see some of you very soon.
